Benefits of Recycling

94% of the natural resources used by Americans are non-renewable. Non-renewable, natural resource use has increased from 59% in 1900 and 88% in 1945.
It takes 95% less energy to recycle aluminum than it does to make it from raw materials.
Making products from recyclables results in energy savings. Recycled steel saves 60% production energy.
Using scrap steel instead of virgin ore to make new steel takes 40% less water and creates 97% less mining waste.
FUTURE GENERATIONS

Natural resources are being depleted and landfills are being filled at an increasing rate. Our current system of production, consumption and disposal has become unsustainable. It is imperative for everyone - from individuals to large organizations - to rethink our ideas and our relationship to trash disposal. By reducing the amount of trash produced and reusing existing materials, we can all make a difference by protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, and sustaining the planet for future generations.

In order to sell your material  you will have to provide a valid DL/ID and a valid auto vehicle with a up to date license plate. As well as a valid cash transaction card to sell your non-ferrous materials.

TEXAS CASH TRANSACTION CARD

cash transaction card must include:

The name and address of the seller;
```

a digital photograph of the seller that accurately depicts the seller's entire face;

an identifying number that is unique to the individual card; and

 the expiration date of the card, which may not be later than two years from the date the card was issued or renewed.

  A metal recycling entity must mail the issued cash transaction card to the address provided on the application for the card.

APPLICATION AND TRANSACTION CASH CARDS ARE FREE OF CHARGE.

IF CASH TRANSACTION CARD IS LOST, THE REPLACEMENT WILL BE $5 PER PRINT OUT.

A/C UNITS, A/C COILS AND CONDENSERS

It is unlawful to purchase air conditioner coils or condensers from anyone who is not HVAC certified and legally permitted to sell such items. If seller is a private citizen, they must provide a bill, receipt or other documentation that the person purchased the coils/condensers or that they purchased a replacement central air/air conditioning unit.
